In my riverside studio in South Sutton, New Hampshire, I draw from many aspects of the natural world to create designs that I hope will give you the same sense of connection to the beauty of nature that I experience in creating them. Many of the materials I use are of the earth…pearls, gem stones and metals…and my intention is that the designs themselves also reflect inspirations from the natural world.
The centerpiece of Pebbles and Pearls jewelry is a unique pebble design resembling the ocean-polished pebbles found along New England beaches. My “pebbles” are actually hand-formed from a composite of natural materials with a polymer clay base. They have the textures and look of authentic stone, and are just as durable and waterproof, but much lighter weight than actual stones.

Snow and Ice Earrings My personal favorite this season. A new design inspired by winter’s subtle tones and the dazzling sparkle of sun, snow, and ice. Pearls and a combination of Czech glass beads in soft, clear tones swing in two separate tiers.

Zen Design Necklace This is one of my original designs and remains one of the most popular. The two shapes remind me of the elegance and simplicity of Japanese brushwork, hence the name “Zen design”. (Note: These cotton cords are extremely durable.)

Tri-pendant on Sterling Coil One necklace transforms to three! The individual elements of this design slip off the sterling coil so they can each be worn individually or in any combination. The sterling coil has a lovely, delicate look but is very durable, with a minimalist quality that complements both dressed up and dressed down styles.

Ice Blue with Pearl Earrings A beautiful color year ‘round, this deep turquoise, sculpted glass bead reflects tones of winter ice as well as the aquamarine of warm Caribbean waters. A delicate pearl droplet swings lightly from the base.

Pebble Elipse with Pearl Droplet In this design the sense of solidity of stone is contrasted with the delicate movement of the suspended pearl which moves with every turn and gesture. The sterling Omega chain holds its flexible curved shape encircling the neck.

Labradorite with Pebble and Pearls This new design uses one of my favorite gem stones, labradorite. Its palette of subtle colors and luminescence create a crystalline aura. The intertwining strands interspersed with tiny fresh water pearls and the asymmetrical placement of the herring bone pearls and sterling leaf clasp enhance the combination of elements in this unique piece.
